Release & End Of Testing

This is Carlo Derouaux, once again from the MonKey Team. It’s been a few weeks since I last wrote an update about the current state of MonKey, but here we are! A lot has happened since then, and I am proud to announce that we have successfully launched the first version of MonKey on the App Store! For over 30 hours now, MonKey has been globally available on all iOS devices.

How did testing go?

Very well! We’ve reached some important milestones worth celebrating. To name a few: we had over 110 participants in our external testing campaign and recorded more than 958 app openings during our 76-day testing period. The most valuable part, however, was the textual feedback we received over time. More than 50 people shared their feedback with us via various social media platforms and email. This allowed us to better understand what our users want and where we should focus our efforts. In the end, version 1.0 is very different from what I initially imagined it would feel and look like. I am incredibly proud of what the team has achieved, and we’ve gained a wealth of experience along the way.

To everyone who tested the app: Thank you so much! You are a big part of why we keep going!

What’s next?

With version 1.0 now released and the first 45 installs under our belt, we’re already working on the 1.1 update. This update will introduce important functionalities for future features, such as fully automatic autofill and passkeys.
